Autumn Equinox
in the Desert
Sahara, Morocco
How would you like to leave your busy life and busy schedule for a few days, to take time to connect to yourself and to your needs? I invite you to join me for this special time of the year, the Autumn Equinox, when day and night are of equal duration and we get ready to enter the darker months of the year. The desert is a magical place, where you and your problems feel really tiny, where you realize that you are connected to something bigger. The space and silence around us invites us to reconnect to the space and silence within us.
SAHARA DESERT, MOROCCO, 18-25 September 2025
An inner and outer journey
The first time I went to the desert was in Morocco in 2007, and I remember how magical the camel ride under a starry night and the full moon was. My heart longed to experience it again and I am so happy to return to Morocco and get to spend a few days with you and with our nomadic guides.
Landscapes such as the desert really allow you not only to have an outer enriching experience, but really support a deep inner experience
Yoga
I will share yoga practices infused with energy work, to help you tune in with the energy of the season and the elements. All yoga practices will work on our various systems helping the body come into balance. You will feel so vibrant!
You will have morning and evening long yoga sessions, allowing you to realign physically, energetically and mentally.
The morning sessions will be vitalizing, to provide you with a beautiful energy for the day, and the evening practices will be more relaxing.
We also will have a special session for the New Moon and for the Autumn Equinox
Everyone is welcome to join, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned student.

Nomadic life in the Desert
We will walk a few hours (3-4h) a day, and move our camp, experiencing the nomadic lifestyle. A return to simplicity. During the walks you will be able to either chat with some friends, talk to our guides, or choose to stay silent, and spend time with yourself. You can take these opportunities to have walking meditations. This space offered in the desert allows you to truly reconnect to your heart and your deepest longings.
Earth, Sun, Moon and Stars
The time when we will be in Marocco is very special: it will be a New Moon (great to set intentions), Eclipse season (great for deep inner work and let go of what no longer serves you), and the Equinox. Our ancesters and many cultures around the world, celebrate the equinoxes and the solstices, they really mark the change of energy and the change of season. Autumn Equinox is a time to harvest the fruits of the work done in the previous months, and a time to prepare for the darker time of the year. Being under the sun and the stars, in pure Nature, is a true gift.

Dominique - Your Teacher
I have over 20 years of yoga practice, including 7 years as a teacher, and I love sharing all the practices I have learned on my yoga journey.
I am particularly passionate about energy work, and all the yoga styles I teach incorporate this dimension, whether it is Kundalini yoga, Himalayan Integrative yoga, or Energy Medicine yoga.
I enjoy offering a complete yoga experience that includes not only yoga postures but also pranayama (breathwork), mantras (sound yoga), mudras (hand gestures), meditation, and relaxation.
I love teaching during yoga retreats because it allows a deeper work and deeper connection: with yourself, with others, and with something greater than yourself.
I will accompany you throughout this journey, both internal and external, between darkness and light, silence and sound, sand and sky.
