Start your year with intention

Updated: 4 days ago

I wish you a wonderful new year, filled with love and joy.

I invite you, for the first 12 days of the year, to have a focus every day.

Each day symbolizes a month of the year.

January 1: January

Theme: New Beginnings and Clarity.

Ritual: Write down your intentions for the year and light a candle to symbolize clarity and direction. Focus especially on how you want to feel more than on a specific outcome. Do you wish to feel more vitality, more joy, more playfulness? How can you add more of that into your days?

January 2: February

Theme: Relationships – the most important relationship is the one to yourself.

Ritual: Spend quality time with yourself and choose how you can spend more time with yourself on a regular basis. How can you unplug from external stimuli and return to yourself? It can be time in nature, meditation, yoga, listening to music, doing some art. What is your way(s) of spending time with yourself?

January 3: March

Theme: Growth and Renewal.

Ritual: Plant seeds (literal or symbolic) and reflect on how you want to grow. You can also add a note in the soil, next to a seed, so when the plant grows you can visualize your intention grow.

January 4: April

Theme: Creativity and Inspiration.

Ritual: Engage in a creative activity like painting, journaling, or brainstorming new ideas.

January 5: May

Theme: Abundance and Prosperity.

Ritual: Write about what abundance looks like for you. Visualize yourself thriving in every area of life.

And here is also the link to a song I love, “Abundance” by Alexia Chellun

January 6: June

Theme: Balance and Harmony

Ritual: Meditate on areas of your life that need more balance. Commit to self-care practices.

January 7: July

Theme: Joy and Connection

Ritual: Do something that brings you joy and share it with someone else (a walk, a call, a meal).

January 8: August

Theme: Strength and Resilience

Ritual: Reflect on challenges you've overcome and affirm your inner power.

January 9: September

Theme: Learning and Wisdom

Ritual: Read, study, or engage in an activity that expands your knowledge.

January 10: October

Theme: Transformation and Letting Go

Ritual: Write down what you want to release and burn the paper to symbolize letting go.

January 11: November

Theme: Gratitude and Reflection

Ritual: Write a gratitude list for all you have experienced and learned.

January 12: December

Theme: Celebration and Completion

Ritual: Celebrate yourself and the intentions you've set. Light a candle to symbolize the culmination of your efforts.

We have gone through the year in 12 days, but if you want to integrate deeply, don't hesitate to come back to it every month, over and over.

Happy 2025!
